A Brief History

SeaArk was founded in 1992, a relative newcomer to the fishing scene. But it didn't take long for them to earn a large customer following! They started off making quality all-welded aluminum boats. A few short years later, in 1994, the company created the World's Largest Jon Boat. It boasted dimensions of 24 feet long and 72 inches wide. Later, SeaArk created a 26 foot long jon boat.

As they designed different boats, they stuck to their slogan of "built for a lifetime". Boats were built to last, offering features like thicker gauge aluminum and heavy-duty ribs. In 2009, they launched the ProCat Series. This high-performing boat helped establish SeaArk as a top choice for those seeking catfish. It's tailored to tournaments and is the most common choice by those competing. Today, SeaArk offers models for bass, crappie, mud, bay, and duck.

SeaArk Fishing Tournament

Every year, SeaArk hosts an owners invitational catfish tournament. People travel from all across the country, creating over 100 teams and making this the largest catfish boat owners tournament in the country. Anyone can participate regardless of fishing level, which makes the weekend enjoyable to everyone from professionals to families. Thousands of dollars in prize money are handed out to the top twenty qualifiers - and people bring their A-game! The 2018 winning team, for example, got 186.68 pounds of fish and the biggest fish caught weighed 93.22 pounds!

SeaArk Community Involvement

SeaArk is more than a company who creates quality fishing boats - they give back to their community (especially in fishing-related ways). They partner for events like "Teach a Child to Fish Day", which connects kids to professionals to share the love of fishing.
